Violin

Violin is the most popular instrument in the String Family. It is a high pitch sounding instrument.

Viola

Viola is an instrument of the string family, larger than the violin and tuned a fifth lower.

Cello

The cello has been described as the closest sounding instrument to the human voice. It is a low pitch sounding instrument.

Piano

The piano provides both melody and harmony, therefore it can be played solo without any accompaniment.

Theory

Music theory is understanding how and why the notes on the page appear. It is the rules to music. For a practical AMEB Grade 5 exam, you need to have completed AMEB Theory Level 1.
